Northgate

Early Learning is so much more than just care for your child and we would love for you to join us on the adventure of these early years at our Northgate centre!
Our Northgate location provides care for children as young as 6 weeks old up until school age, running a successful and extensive Preschool and Kindergarten program to promote school readiness.
About Our Centre
Northgate Early Learning & Kindergarten is South Australian family owned and operated. Purpose built with state of the art facilities in 2003, the Centre is managed by Director Donna O’Callaghan, Assistant Director Rachelle Hoppo and Operations Manager Eleni Foster. The Centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm weekdays except public holidays.
Our curriculums are based around the National Quality Standards and the Early Learning Framework, and we strongly believe in the importance of good relationships and high quality interactions between Educators, families and children which help shape confidence and resilience creating a strong foundation for social and emotional wellbeing.
The Centre prides itself on providing interactive experiences for children of all ages to explore numeracy and literacy. We believe that children learn through play and a wide range of incursions are provided throughout the year to support this.
Flying Start Preschool
Northgate Early Learning & Kindergarten is excited to announce it’s selection to launch the Flying Start for Kids 3 year old preschool program supported by the Government of South Australia!
Designed to provide an extra year of age-appropriate, play based learning, including a boost program to support a child’s developmental vulnerabilities in their pivotal years before school.
In addition to our extensive preschool program, the boost program offers activities from external sources to support:
- physical health and well being
- social competence
- emotional maturity
- language and cognitive skills
- communication skills and general knowledge
Explore our Classrooms
When you come for a visit to our centre our Director will take you on a tour through our classrooms so that you can see them in action. With our open door policy, what you see is what you get, nothing is staged or set up especially for your visit, you will see how our Educators engage with the children and witness the relationships first hand.
The Centre is split into 6 age groups each with their own indoor and outdoor play space with age specific toys and resources.
