Earlier this week our Kindergarten Children were lucky enough to have their student teacher create and experience for them using clay and nature items found in their yard.

Using their hands and water to feel and soften the clay,  then sticking to the tree trunk, the children decorated their “faces” using leaves, stones and gumnuts.

All of the children were so engaged in the activity, discussing the different items, the feel of the clay and the different facial expressions they could make, we think they would declare this activity a definite success!
